A SUMMER PROGRAM

DEVELOPING FUTURE STARS

IN ANY WALK OF LIFE

About Us.

About Hawk Hill Day Camp.

Hawk Hill Day Camp, powered by Future Stars, brings more than 50 years of day camp experience to the campus of Saint Joseph’s University. Building on the legacy started in 1971 by Naismith Hall of Fame Coach Cathy Rush, the camp team now led by Michael Rush and Future Stars carries those same core values onto Hawk Hill.

Hawk Hill Day Camp offers a safe, professional, friendly environment right on SJU’s campus, with engaged counselors and outstanding facilities dedicated to camper safety and fun. The camp welcomes the individual talents and interests of each camper and creates an environment that nurtures growth through individual initiative, group challenges, sportsmanship, and fun.

Summer Day Camp at Saint Joseph’s University

Hawk Hill Day Camp operates on the beautiful campus of Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, taking full advantage of air-conditioned facilities, playing fields, classrooms, and modern campus resources. Future Stars is proud to partner with Saint Joseph’s to provide an important community service for local families each summer.

“My kids have loved Future Stars for over seven years! They have a fun, but relaxed schedule, great weekly themes, and lots of interesting guests. Most importantly they hire kind, friendly and well-balanced counselors, and train them well – the counselors make every minute of the day fun for the kids. My son loved it at 5 and still likes it at 12 – not many places I can say that about.”

Our Mission, Our Philosophy, and Our Purpose

Our Mission:

Hawk Hill Day Camp’s mission is to provide a quality camp experience on Saint Joseph’s University’s campus that exceeds the expectations of campers and parents. Campers should experience the best of the best in programming, staff, and facilities at Hawk Hill.

Our Camp Philosophy:

The Hawk Hill Day Camp philosophy is rooted in the belief that the staff is responsible for the health, safety, and personal growth of every camper. The positive example of the entire Hawk Hill team directly shapes each camper’s attitude and experience, with every day designed to build self-esteem, new friendships, and new skills in a fun environment.
Staff and campers work together to help one another reach their potential, embracing the values of friendship, teamwork, and accomplishment that have defined Future Stars for decades. This philosophy thrives in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere on Hawk Hill, where learning is emphasized and fun is expected.
